History of Zone 3 Women

The Zone 3 Women's Committee came together in the fall of 2004 following the merger of the BCLGA together with the BCGA to form one association with one united voice in the golfing community.

Formerly known as District 8, there has been a long and proud history of women golfers successfully competing at all levels from Club, District, Provincials, and even the Nationals.

As well, we are proud to say that many successful junior golfers have came from District 8 and now continue to come from Zone 3.

With the merger comes added opportunity for women to participate, to volunteer, and to co-ordinate events at all levels of competition. In addition, there is a wide range of education courses provided by the BCGA at the zone and provincial levels.

Known as the Fraser Valley, the area encompasses North Delta, Surrey, Coquitlam & Port Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Langley, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, Agassiz, and Hope.

We have an amazing choice of golf courses just waiting for you to test them out. Please give them a try.
